this was a trick question
UFOs are real because
there are flying objects that are unidentified
suppose mister irisponsable pilot is flying with his radio and radar beacon off
he is flying and nobody knows what he is
thus he is an Unidentified Flying Object
this question has nothing to do with aliens of science or you opinions
this was a test in common sense and hunter lost

I was holding off on replying because I thought that might be what you were getting at...
Do objects which are unidentified and fly exist? Well, yes -- at least, they're unidentified to some observers. They might be identified to others, though, so it really depends on how strict your definition of "unidentified" is.
Do alien spacecraft exist? I doubt it. |

I'm more inclinced to agree with Lothar. Consider that the Drake equation is mostly supposition based on one known species (us). It's not like the Galatic Alliance did a poll of the Galaxy and have used that as the starting point or something. |
