Where are the reviews?!
And come to think of it, where are the indie game sites? GameTunnel hasn't updated since September, MadMonkey hasn't updated since 2008, leaving TIGsource and what else?

Marketing won't start until the game has been out a week or two, just to make sure nothing slipped through beta testing. After that, we'll do a news letter and then begin trying to email \\"the world\\".

You're right though, indie sites seem to have lost their voice a little. Maybe it's all about blogs and youtube these days? Marketing is literally just spending an hour a day searching for people to email and maybe $200 on adverts now and again. Not great I know, but we'll keep plugging away.

Feel free to post any sites or blogs or whatever that you think are worth contacting.

TigSource probably isn't any good, A while ago they became quite anti-commercial (which is fine) and hence a few other commercial indies I know stopped bothering with it. Maybe it's different now I don't know.

GameTunnel has been in decline a while sadly, the site owner wrote about it saying he was finding it more and more difficult to get 3rd party sites to carry his news items and as a result his traffice was falling.

Is this all indicative of soom approaching doom or just older sites fading from popularity as newer sites/blogs/youtubes/facebooks rise to take their place? Hopefully the latter Smile

Talking of reviews.

http://www.i-luv-games.com/

This site wants to do one, but when I hit the url the browser looks at me blankly. Maybe this site isn't viewable in the UK? The site owner is convinced everything is ok.

Maybe it only works in the US, I cannot tracert or ping that url.

Anyone else?

How odd. I'm having no problems with the Internet otherwise, but cannot resolve that url.

Crazy.

I can't get to that url with IE, Firefox, Chrome, tracert or ping.

Presumably I have an extremely selective problem with my computer or maybe my ISP is blocking that site. Oh well, not a problem really I guess.

It works fine here, but I agree with Slyh. It does look kind of amateurish....

Fair enough, it's not a big deal I was just slightly alarmed that I couldn't actually look at it Smile

This is a serious issue for the people who love games. I am a regular member to GameTunnel, and now the site is not getting updated. I hope you guys will notice this and update the game sites soon to stop such problems happening. Thanks in advance.
