You know what? (you probably do)... I have never seen so much polish and depth in any indie game uptil now. I mean, the level of detail in Mr. Robot is astonishing. I really wish you guys tremendous success.

Anyway, approximately how many levels will be there in Mr. Robot?
Also, How big is an average level (in terms of time taken to complete, or size)?

It's not really level based as such, it's more 'room' based - the ship is one giant map, and everything actually fits together properly in 3D space (which is a complete pain when you want to move things about Sad ). Each room is a miniature adventure in itself, and some feature totally unique coding just for that room. We currently number at least 150 + defined 'rooms' but of course, many of them are connecting corridors and tutorial based rooms (although that's fun in itself).

Making rooms has proven to be the task we most underestimated - they usually take 2-3 days. So when you consider one person can get around 8-12 rooms completed per month it's a big slice of the development pie. Game time should be pretty good, especially when you consider a lot of the rooms will also feature ghost hacking sections, which are like mini-rpg games. Fingers crossed it should be a pretty nice stack of gameplay Smile

Will testers be truly randomly selected, or can we bribe you to get in? Wink

They might if you can't spell Jedi right!

The plural of Jedi is Jedi. Even if it did have an "s", it wouldn't have an apostrophe. :p

Or are you just baiting the grammar natizis?

Maybe he meant "I don't think the Jedi's [pet tiger] will have a problem" or something to that effect? Shame on you, Weeble.

Maybe the beta testers can take part in a competition to see who spots the most bugs. I'm guessing Weeble will have an advantage here though going through the dialogue. Wink

What would be a good prize?

A free flight to Sheffield where the winner will stay at a lovely hotel for 2 days and having the opportunity to visit the Moonpod headquarters and talk to the staff in person. He or she will see the current project and will even be allowed to play some rounds. The afternoon program includes a visit to all majour attractions of Sheffield. In the evening the winner will be invited to some exclusive club to meet the local celebrities.

Sounds great to me. Wink
