Austrian online gaming magazine rebell.at has posted up a 2 page interview with Moonpod's very own Nick Tipping. The interview's focus is on War Angels but also touches on Mr. Robot and indie game development in general.
German speakers, can read the full interview here
Hopefully, rebell.at's editor, Bertold Schauer might get the chance to translate it to English at some point, but until then, there's always the comedy google transation. :) |

Yeah! I thought that was weird - I mean, even if you took 'nick' as a noun, how do you get Nod? ! Babelfish did an even worse job and called me 'Nod yourself Tipping'  |

Now, that's easy. :-)
The german verb "nicken" means "to nod".
Conjugations:
Ich nicke
Du nickst
Er/Sie/Es nickt
Wir nicken
Ihr nickt
Sie nicken
The imperative is: "nick" (Example: "Nick mal!" or simple "Nick!")
That would simply translate to "Nod!".
So "Nick Tipping" becomes "Nod Tipping". Also "Tipping" seems do be a valid word. Don't know why that's not translated... |

| But it's not a German word, is it? Tipping, that is. It's a valid English word with a German counterpart, yes, but that wouldn't be translated to anything else in the transition to English. |

What does it mean?
(I always have to think of the jar in the bar at the beginning of the first X-Men movie which has a note attached to it: "Tipping is not a city in China"  )

I see there is urgent need of a translated version. I'll try to get an english version online by the end of february. These translators do a very painful job it seems. On the other hand I couldn't stop laughing for about 10 minutes - thanks to Nod  |

I think it was a trade, like 'carpenter' or 'smith'. They used to make arrow heads - literally 'tipping' the arrows. |
