After seeing the picture of Inferno I thought it might be nice to have a sequel to the best robot poll
If anyone can think of any I am missing, post here and I will add them.
Two rules: no 'androids' (e.g. Ash from Alien) and no scary computers (HAL from 2001) |

I actually found this pretty scary when I first saw it (particularly the video where it is walking down the stairs) (although perhaps the poll should stick to movie robots!)
Honda are doing some cool stuff there! I'd love it if we could use real world logos on some of the robots - I just like that idea - that people like Honda are making robots in the future. |

ED-209 I thought was a well concieved robot concept. Seeing it move in all its stop motion glory made it seem all the more terrifying, if not overall just clunky. And while I like the Lost in Space robot too (the one from the remade flick is the one I like), its voice is too polished. ED's on the other hand is mechanical and ominous in its delivery. Course, if its talking to you, you've probably done something he doesn't like  |
