Starscape has voice support (and so will battlescape), some publishers insist on it. It is very expensive to get actors in though and if you try and do it yourself there can be problems with the quality of the acting and the quality of the recording. |

That is true. But in some cases sound quality can be used to your advantage. For example, you could make radio transmissions sound staticy with audio processing software, which would mask any imperfections in the original recording.
I've never done any serious voice acting, though I can do some impersonations. I think I've figured out how Von Braun and Bud would sound like, though I haven't read the actual script aloud in their respective voices... though I should try that just to see. heh |

Well, I would, had I some snippets of some dialog, since I really can't remember what they said. |

I'm seriously thinking of it... only problem is I have tonsilitis, so I'll probably not be up to par, but I can still do different voices. |

OK, here's some quotes if anyone wants to have a go, if over time we get enough, maybe we'll run a poll to judge them and sort out some kind of prize!:
Rin:A new node has been added to the navigation maps. Our sensors couldn't pick it up previously; almost as if something was hiding it from us.
Max: Looks like another major enemy mother ship; scans indicate the same invulnerable armour plating. You're going to have to work hard to take this one down.
Bud: If we are to stem the tide of enemy units then we must attack, and utterly destroy them. Make them pay for what they have done to us.
JJ: this is my first tour of duty, and now I'm in charge of engineering! I don't know if I can get everything fixed.
Archnid Queen: It seems we have underestimated you humans. You are proving competent opponents indeed. Do you recognise this form? We were so impressed by the biology we decided to give you the honour of bonding with us. Sadly, this was the only subject to survive. No matter, we shall soon have new test subjects to refine the process.
Xenarch: We are the Xenarch! We control this node! Your weapons will not help you here. If your intentions are hostile you should leave now. |

You could email it to support@moonpod.com and we will host it, otherwise stick it in your own webspace and link to it. Presumably it isn't very big. |
