Half Life 2 and Doom III
Boring I know, we only want them so we can justify buying new machines in the office! |

| World of Warcraft - i don't think it will do anything revolutionary in terms of gameplay (sadly), but for once they have made a mmorpg that looks gorgeous. |

I'm with Fost on this.
Also worth a look :
- I Of The Dragon (www.primal-soft.com): part RTS, part dragon simulator.
- Spellforce (www.spellforce.com): half RTS, half RPG. |

Downloaded the demo, dragons are cool remember Drakken and Panzer Dragoon - flying dragons arround in-game is a great idea but nobody seems to have done it justice yet. Why can't I have free roaming flight, why can't I swoop down and rip my enemy apart using my talons, why can't I dive into the heart of the castle dousing my enemies in flame before feasting on the spoils whoops, might be getting a bit carried away there.
Obviously this game isn't like that as it is point and click control, power up your dragon and its magic abilities, follow the radar to the next target. Nice idea, but not the fire breathing, gut rending chaos I'd like to see. Still worth a look, beats the usual RTS cliche's anyway. |

From an artist's point of view, I really respect what's going on with WOWC. It doesn't appear (at least in preview shots) that they've gone for cutting edge lighting/shaders/shadowing etc. They've just filled the game with loads of well made, well textured models.
Compare this to Everquest, which has just had all the above implemented and is chock full of second rate looking models (Sorry, I just can't get past the tigerheaded men and on to playing that game). |

On the Indie game front, (other than Battlescape of course ) They came from Hollywood is something I'm looking forward to.
Also, in a recent reader's poll on Gametunnel, Dark Horizons: Lore was voted most anticipated upcoming game. I've not really had a chance to look into what it's all about though, but it might be worth checking out. |

They have something called """BLIZZARD QUALITY"""
its an unwritten quideline that'll kill them if they dont follow it, i trust on it:
all of their games so far were very good one's, they'd severly injure their reputation if WoW wouldnt be good. |

Half-Life 2, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Gran Turismo 4.
Will also probably be some of the best games ever made. |

Metal Gear 3 and The next Grand Theft Auto will be big, but GTA can't possibly top Scarface the game, can they?
Resident Evil Outbreak sounds good on paper, but if its anything like other online games I've played, it won't be as good as it sounds, I heard it comes out pretty soon. |

Battlescape(what else),Halo 2(provided they dont screw it up), WoW(mean people didnt let me into beta, but its still the most likely mmorpg for me to play) and Evil Genuis (looks promising)
My want list would be a Freespace 3, Freespace2 was the greatest space fighting sim EVER (go check it out) but liscence disputes have made a sequel next to impossible If it floats your boat, the complete source code is somewhere on the internet(you could just google it)
You guys should do a space fighting sim next Starscape 3D!
You know you wanna, Starscape Junkie |

Halo 2- Downloaded the video demo, graphics so pretty, gameplay looks better than ever, must watch again... *drools*
Starcraft: Ghost - Until I got Starscape, the ONLY game I ever truly played the hell out of on my PC (aside from Civilization) was Starcraft; this FPS looks really awesome, not to mention you get to be the ever lovable assassin/psychic/nuke-dropping Ghost
Fable- Oh yeah, just the idea of having your character good or evil is awesome (one of the reasons I liked Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic so much). |
