  Congratulations on still being alive!

I like the bottom left prototype (the top down one with the nice lighting). Even though we don't know how any of them are supposed to play. Smile

I just tried out the demo and it's really nice (albeit a little short). The interface, tutorial and little effects show an awesome amount of polish (love the water effect).

  I've played isometric games on the 8 and 16bit machines. But one problem I always had was matching the diagonal movement of your character with horizontal and vertical cursor keys.

  Hmm.. I think I can picture what you are saying with the camera, but without a video or demo it's hard to be sure.

I'm more concerned about how the controls work, is it mouse based?

  Fost: No vertex shaders. Neon Wars only uses OpenGL 1.1 capabilities. Some cards had speed problems with copying from the frame buffer to a texture, and one card (Deltachrome IIRC) just crashes during ...
