  you'll only find the xenarch if you pick up the data node from the first of the new minibosses in the zone.

In a prowler, go with blaster 2's.

In an avenger, 4 blaster 4's.

Scavenger game, moving directly from zone 1 to zone 3 (I save zone 2 for later -- the cap ships drop better loot after I've beat the zone 3 boss.) Hadn't saved yet. ...

  -Why do the scrambler later get stronger with that orb around them but still seem to have the same name? At the very least put a II next to the more powerful ones.

  I do think that Nethack could benefit from a streamlined interface and getting weaned off of D&D-based stats.

Seeing as the game is like 20 years old, I think it's silly to even jokingly sugges ...
