  sealing other players in is fun, but any smart map makes sure that theres some resource or something nearby a players start, allowing said player to face off against an opponent with no trouble. besid ...

  2 varients of Artillary....

Actual long range guns, very expencive, ammo hungry, not 100% accurate. Good for blasting chunks out of an opponents base, or his oncoming forces (ala Big Berta, TA)

  infogrames/neo-atari turns my stomach. I mean come on, now, with SupCom comming out, they STILL won't do a rerelease of Total Annihilation, yet they won't sell the rights either..........

  On the subject of TA: www.tauniverse.com is still going strong. And on their IRC, it is QUITE possible to get a TCP/IP game... although, admitedly, its rare.
