So, did anyone from the forums go and see it?

I did. It was so-so. Some laughs, some nice scenes, really good effects. But the story and probably the directing made the movie as a whole a little tedious to watch. It lacked soul.

Not at all a terrible movie, but not a masterpiece either, although it had potential.

I don't think it opens in the UK until next month - IMDB don't have a date yet but I found another site that said May.

Mark Kermode (5 Live's opinionated and usually entertaining film reviewer - his podcast is well worth a listen) said he liked it:
