Ubisoft's most up-to-date multiplayer title, For Honor, immediately impressed us with breathtaking visuals and unique styling at E3 2016.

We sat down with the open beta build the weekend prior to the official launching to learn whether it held up in terms of graphic fidelity, and For Honor Steel Credits just as importantly, how well it runs. Here is how you can ensure For Honor gameplay.

To start, there aren't any preset configurations -- low, medium, large, and ultra -- that control each the additional settings.

There are several more esoteric configurations as well, including dynamic shadows, texture quality, geometric detail, texture detail, and motion blur.

There are some resolution options supersampling and render scale, that are discussed in their own sections below, because of their implications on both the performance and image clarity. Before we get started

There is one massive limitation you should be aware of heading into For Honor on PC. The For Honor game demands a frame per second functionality average. If you drop below that amount too frequently during multiplayer For Honor gameplay, the host may kick you out of multiplayer matches. That means, whatever balance of functionality and smooth For Honor gameplay you prefer, you'll need to keep the configurations low enough to maintain that 30 FPS ordinary.

The in-For Honor game benchmark is the best means to ensure that For Honor Items not only are you keeping your typical frame rate upward, but your minimum is not dropping too low. That said, our test system was able to typical 67 FPS at 1080p Extreme, so the bar is not a large one to achieve for mid-range hardware.
