Howdy all,

Another rookie stuck in a room. Smile

Room z1r39 is where you meet up with Orgus again. I'm having a bit of trouble making the double-pillar jump along the right wall. Even holding jump down for the "long" jump isn't helping.

Am I missing another trigger or is there are trick to the jump?

Thanks in advance.

Shouldent this be in the support section? Do you mean the room with lowered gravity?

I don't think this is a support issue. This is just a "The room is smarter that me. Please help." post - which seem to go here.

There is no mention of gravity. When you first enter, Orgus asks "What's that in your head" and Zelda says "It's me. Az saved me from a rogue" Orgus then orders you to "hop islands".

Here's the walkthrough entry.

Z 1R39 (0 pods, 81 total):
- meet Orgus again
- push 3 blocks onto 3 switches
- locker: Basic Shield
- Eve location: ERestoreL1/L2 (cost 1/2), RebootL1 (cost: 4),
PRestoreL1/L2 (cost: 1/2), GrenadeL1 (cost: 1)
- push 4 blocks onto 4 switches
- SAVE POINT

I'll post an image tomorrow when Photobucket is not doing maintenance.

It's the two pillars along the southright wall. I can get to the second pillar, but I can never make the pillar to island jump.

How odd, i just tried and it is fully possible for me, are you holding down jump and the direction key through the whole jump?

I'm pretty sure I'm holding down both the mouse button for the jump and the left arrow for direction the whole time.

I'll try again this evening and look at my fingers more closely.

Hehe, your using the mouse button? I dont know about you but i think the game is 50% harder when moving with the mouse, anyway its a normal 2 tile jump, just keep trying and eventually you'll make it, but then again it might be something with your save file or game, then you should talk to Fost.

Looks to me like a 1-tile jump.

Are you trying to make all 3 jumps quickly, while still running/moving towards the island? You can stop on a pillar and re-adjust your position, I'm sure you know. Idea

And I totally agree that the mouse controls are clumsier. The transition to keyboard might seem awkward at first, but it's worth the slight initial inconvenience.

I was trying to make all three jumps at once. Taking each jump by itself was the trick. I don't know why I didn't think of that.

As an FYI, I'm only using the mouse for the triggers. I'm steering with the keypad.

Thanks to the both of you for your help.
