Wow! Another cool adventure. Need to get the uploading system going pretty quick. I think it would be best to share these that way, and then they can be 'approved' by a group of people on the forum. I'll set up a group for that which people can join if they want to get 'beta' adventures.

Posted version 0.4 here.

I added several more rooms and some hidden things.
Put in some lockers with energon and put energon in places I think it might be useful.
Makes z2well a little bit easier. Smile

I would like to know if the last two doors in z2hub are too hard to open. I think I hid their entrances very well.

I made the door to z1hub from z1beginning and the door to z2hub from z1hub open by default; all the doors inside them are locked by default anyway.

I wonder how many people have tried this adventure?

If you're really that desperate to try user adventures, perhaps you could try creating a temporary new user on your system? It sounded like it was just that the user adventure system couldn't cope with the Ä in your name--you could try making a new user with no accents just to play Mr Robot. When the bug is fixed you could delete that user again. User accounts are created in the control panel under "User accounts".

Yea that might work Razz

Replace "might" with "doesent" and you will get a true sentence, anyway when i tried to make a new profile i got the "Mr.robot has encountered a problem" bug Sad

And im not desperate to try other peoples adventures! Im desperate to make my own!

Don't make a new profile in Mr. Robot, make a new profile in Windows, since from what I understand the problem is the fact that your Windows login username has unicode in it.

Also, maybe you should stop asking Poo Bear and Fost to hurry up with an update. I'm sure they're working as fast as they can, and it's a bit rude to be yelling at them like that all the time, especially since they're always so good with helping out and fixing bugs.

That's impossible for any game company, let alone one that's only staffed by two people.

That's stepping over the line. I don't know whether you're being serious or trying to be funny, and I'm not even sure exactly what you're trying to say, but there's no excuse for saying something like this. I'm trying to help you fix your problem until a patch is released, and you respond by insulting both me and the creators of the game?

I'm sorry that suggestion didn't work. I'm sure Poo Bear and Fost are working long hours every day to fix bugs like this. Sadly, bug-free code is a nice but expensive ideal. For the money you paid for Mr. Robot you could probably take your pick from a game like this that has the odd bug and glitch, but will be fixed eventually, or a cast-iron, dog-slow text adventure that never breaks. I think they pay a lot of attention to the forum as it is, but there's no point repeatedly posting to say "we're working on it" or "it'll be in the next patch" after they've acknowledged the problem, because they can much better spend their time getting that next patch out the door.

PS - This is the annoyed one: Mad

No, they were pretty obvious to me.
Spoiler (highlight to read):
Everytime I saw an air duct door wall tile I tried to open it. Perhaps you should put in lots of dummy ones. Also looking at the outline of the room on the map vs. the outline of the room on the screen gave away some secrets.

The third to last secret was hardest for me.
Spoiler (highlight to read):
I ended up arranging the balls to be jumpable and then taking the secrets to the other side of the room to jump onto them. I'm not sure I could do it without having found the later secrets first.

Any chance you could have a go at uploading this to the sharing system if you have a free second? All the bugs seem to have been ironed out now...

That way anyone can automatically get the adventure from with in the game*

Thank you for the great puzzles (v0.4)! Some of them had me stumped for a while, the water one that changes levels just has me frustrated, but they are all very clever and use the editor creatively.

It seems I found a highly irregular way to go through the puzzles:

Spoiler (highlight to read):
When I hit the shift key between the first and second doors of hub2, all of the level 2 doors open! Not having found any other doors unlocked, and not knowing how to solve the first puzzle, I did the puzzles in backwards order.

I also found an anomaly in z1beginning, but just in case it's a spoiler:

Spoiler (highlight to read):
It doesn't seem to help at all, but when I stand on the north wall of z1beginning between the single and the double block (2 squares east of the NW corner) and I hit the shift key, I get a replacement motivator unit and then it immediately disappears.
