I retract my earlier post. I find your constant corrections of Ic's grammar to be disruptive, and it seems (to me) like you have some sort of personal gripe with Icarus. I'm not going to force you to like him, but I'd just like to say that I, personally, feel that you're constantly on the offense against both him and others, and I don't find it all that enjoyable.
I realise that I might just have to suck it up, but I thought I'd let you know anyhow. I would have PMed you so that I didn't have to take this up in public, but I can't seem to find any PM buttons that would allow me to do so...

Urgh. I just now realised that the post I just "replied" to could be just a response to Nick's joke, but my opinions are based on more than that one post, so they still stand. Sorry, Nick and Mark. I didn't wish to do this, but I felt I needed to.
I'll shut up about it now, though, and I'll never speak of it in public again. If you want to discuss it in private, konedima, you could contact me through MSN (in my profile) or through e-mail (you'll find my e-mail on my site). I won't reply to any messages regarding this in public.

Again, sorry. Feel free to split this off if it's too far off topic.

I don't have a personal gripe with anyone, it's just that bad spelling really gets on my nerves. I'm sorry if anyone gets the feeling that I'm after them specifically because I'm not.

As I tell my friends: "I start with a bad idea and go too far".

What I just can't stand is when game magazines or Online-game magazines tell $hkwegkT about games as facts .. Today I just read as a feature:"- Use of Pixel- and Vertexshaders" NOO!! Don't you say thats true!! Cutting Edge Tech!!

but.. why am I telling this? Ehm it was about stuff getting on nerves. Even if this wasn't a topic until now.

Say, is it usual that the development diaries drift off so far at the end? I mean the thread is only 12 days old. There almost 3 weeks until a new diary post!Crying or Very sad

My thoughts exactly. Except with proper grammar, of course.

My awkwardness is rising to insufferable heights! Crying or Very sad

But actually that was rather an orthographically than a grammatical error!
Or is that all the same in NZ??? Wink

NZ? I'm fairly certain Sydney isn't in New Zealand, but I've been wrong before. Anyway, don't mind his constant jabbering about people's grammar. He can't help it.

I should probably have just checked Hamish's profile before saying this, but I think Hamish is a New Zealot (My new name for New Zealanders as of right now).

You're right there. I have diagnosed medical conditions. Smile

And yes, Hamish is from NZ (at least he was last time I checked). Of course, should he ever come to Australia we will claim him as our own (like we do for everyone from NZ who succeeds, a notable example being Russell Crowe. If you come here from NZ and are a failure, NEVER call yourself Australian or you just might have to go back for your own safety).

I just got a reply from a web retailer on the whole Windows issue. OEM basically means bare-bones windows. It comes without support from MS, etc. I've never been on the phone with MS about their products, so I hardly think I'll need to any time soon. Nor have I ever read a physical Windows user manual. This makes things slightly more interesting, I believe.
