I ran into a little snag. When I ran the game the first time I ran it as a limited user (I try to run everything as a limited user and I will often go through the trouble of editing file permissions and registry access settings to be able to do it too). Running the game as administrator seems to work just fine though.

I started playing the demo and when I started a new game it comes up with a couple of screens of text then there is the first battle. It shows a skull and cross bones over the two ships and then the game window disappears. I can't find the game in task manager when it disappears. Rerunning produces the same results. Is there maybe a debug command line option to output something useful when it does things like this?

I decided to try running the game as administrator and it seemed to work just fine.

Here is some information about my computer if it helps.

Thanks, I'll look into it.

It will make some log files in mydocuments\pirateprincess which might have something interesting at the end. A little more info can be pumped into the log files if you change the shortcut that runs the game to add

"-verbose"

onto the end of the target line

Awesome thanks! This game is fun. I didn't know I knew so many words. I will now be blaming you when I fail my classes this semester! Wink
