GameTunnel has compiled a list of the top 100 games reviewed in the past 3 years. What's pretty cool is that the their top 100 looks nothing like the 'most popular' lists you'll see on any casual game portals. There's some really great games on there that I bet hardly anyone has heard of. Well done to Russel Carrol and the entire GT team! 458 reviews in 3 years is pretty amazing going :)

Oh, and guess what the number one game is...

I thought Starscape was better.

Maybe I'm biased against games though.

You mean 3D games, right? In that case, you can drop the maybe Razz

Anyway, back on topic: Congrats Moonpod!

The list is compiled from the last 3 years though so it didn't get on there (Wow! is Starscape that old!)

I meant to say biased agenst Puzzle games. Somehow it got droped.

And remember I am Biased towards 3d games, But I wouldn't consider eather starscape or Mr robot to be truly 3d.

That's odd... I can understand not considering Starscape to be a 3-d game (you know, since it's 2-d and all), but Mr. Robot is true 3-d. That's what took Moonpod so long to make it, right? They were building and testing and generally getting used to their new in-house, true 3-d engine.

I'm not trying to (re)start the 2-d vs. 3-d game debate, I'm just genuinely confused at this point.

I think a big big part of it was the level design, SethP. Starscape? asteroids are randomly placed. But in Mr. Robot, everything has to be carefully hand-crafted.

Mr robot has 3d graphics and you can jump around and walk on top of things but its not really 3d like descent or half life.

But enough about that.
Starscape was an action game, had neat customization, and a somewhat free rooming environment. those are things I like in games.
Mr robot was a puzzle game, Was only customizable in Ghost hack, and had a fairly linear story.
