I can't claim I fully understand what is going on yet, but I suspect this may be sheer brilliance:

Work In Progress Indie game, but you can download the current build to try it out.

Quick single player guide:
WASD + mouse to aim. A is jetpack. Right mouse or wheel to select weapons
Q/E to switch between units. Q&E to select your 'brain' (the shop)
You are a brain in a bunker, and must protect yourself by controlling units. Harvest gold with the digger weapon, and buy units (delivered by rocket to the specified point. |

I've known about it since 2003 .
It's also highly moddable, but the forums have a lot of... Unskilled people, so the mods forum is full of **** made in paint. |

I had a hard time controling my unit. I really enjoy just flying the rocket around. Looking forward to the finished version. |

Single player is pretty much flawed since you can just hammer it for the enemy brain every time. Need to try this against a real person! |

Does it work on LAN? or just split screen?
This is destined for Lan sessions :]
But seems you cannot order stuff until you let kill your first robot isn't it? |

I think this games not fast paced enough for me I tried it out, becouse the gifs gave me hot and fuzzy feelings in special places but the game itself was not too great. One of those games i play for 5 minutes. What made this game so boring, was the control system. It was slow. I hate the fact that I have to move either slowly by foot, or carefully by jetpack. If this game was all acrobatic pink ninjas wallrunning and not chubby robots whos body parts break easier than a light bulp, the game would have me forever in its hands. But the way it is now, my opinion of the game is shortly, "...nah" |

There's no LAN, which I admit is sad.

Q + E at the same time to select the brain (shop)
I think most people are missing what this game is about - it's more like an RTS, it's not an arcade game. you need to harvest some gold and get some heavy ordnance out there! |

If I had a setup like the guys developing this (projector, crazy Ghost-in-the-Shell esque link up for four players etc.) I'd bet I'd really enjoy this game, until then I'll have to mess around with the physics to tide me over. |
